Owner of The Fly Fishing Workshop

Marine Corps Veteran

Jason grew up along the Hoosic and Walloomsac Rivers, spending nearly every free day chasing trout. When his family later moved to the Adirondacks, he discovered a lifelong love for brook trout in the mountain ponds and streams.

After high school, Jason served as an Infantry Marine, traveling the world with the Marine Corps. When he returned home, his then-girlfriend (now wife) gave him his first fly rod—a gift that sparked an obsession. From that moment on, he rarely left the house or went on a trip without it.

Not long after, Jason began tying his own flies, which deepened his connection to the sport. Over the years, he has fished for both freshwater and saltwater species up and down the Eastern Seaboard.

His passion eventually led him to open The Fly Fishing Workshop in Glens Falls, NY, where his mission is to make fly fishing approachable and affordable for all.
