The Arts & Eats cookbook features over 300 recipes in such categories as Fresh from the Farmer's Market, On the Wild Side, and Mountain Men. The Just from Johnsburg chapter features recipes from cooks and chefs in the Town of Johnsburg's seven hamlets. This beautiful, hardcover book includes artwork by some of the many artists who have exhibited in the Widlund Gallery at Tannery Pond Community Center, as well as historical information about the center and those who run it. Copies of the cookbook will be on sale for $20.

At this event, prints of Peter Hornbeck’s painting Breaking for Lunch, found on the cover of the cookbook, will be for sale.

Dan Berggren & Jenny Berggren

Dan Berggren is a tradition-based musician who grew up on the family farm in Olmstedville.  He writes songs with humor, honesty, and a strong sense of place. His engaging concerts invite audiences to join the chorus on songs that explore the lives of hard working folks and the many dimensions of home. Jenny Berggren will be joining Dan for this special occasion, playing a few Irish tunes and accompanying her dad on flute.

A quote from Caffe Lena: "Berggren embodies the spirit of folk music with songs of everyday people, meeting the challenges of life with courage and love."
