Tickets Now On Sale For Warren Miller’s 76th Film

The new film from Warren Miller, “SNO-CIETY,” celebrates the community and culture of snowsports, proving winter is more than just snow.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boulder, Colo. – Sept. 10, 2025 – This fall will mark the 76th annual feature film from Warren Miller Entertainment. Since the first film debuted in 1949, Warren Miller has been capturing the stories of skiers and riders across the globe. Each fall, the film tour celebrates the start of the season with the largest gathering of snow enthusiasts.

The film, titled “SNO-CIETY,” is not just about snow—it’s about the tight-knit community, shared rituals, and sense of belonging that come with snow culture. The film explores a world where snow creates its own society, bound together by mountain life, adventure, and seasonal tradition.

“SNO-CIETY” takes viewers on a journey from the Scottish Highlands and the streets of Finland to the back bowls of Whitewater, BC, and a local hill-turned-terrain park in downtown Denver. With a unique, fun, and motivational narrative, the film celebrates both the action and the camaraderie of winter. A diverse lineup of Olympians, urban riders, and local legends including Daron Rahlves, Britta Winans, Judd Henkes, Sarka Panacochova, Breezy Johnson, Chris Rubens, Juho Kilkki, Todd Ligare, and many more, uncover what drives us to chase powder year after year.

"This film is a deep dive into the culture behind the sport," said Josh Haskins, Warren Miller executive producer. "It captures the humor, approachable personalities, and memorable moments that make our community so unique. It is a celebration of what binds us together."

The 76th Warren Miller film tour will kick off on October 18, 2025 with a special World Premiere screening at Abravenal Hall in Salt Lake City, followed by shows at more than 300 cities across North America and internationally. Tour stops will feature premium prizes, trips, and giveaways, plus athlete appearances, interactive sponsor experiences, and an unmatched community gathering.

The 76th annual Warren Miller film and film tour is proudly supported in partnership with adidas TERREX, Aberfeldy Scotch Whisky, Atomic, Scout Motors, Oakley, Sorel, Sun Valley Resort, FlyLow Gear, and Glade Optics.

Segment Notes

Mammoth, CA // La Jolla, CA

  • Athlete(s): Judd Henkes, Yuki Kadono, Lyon Farrell

Judd Henkes grew up a surfer in Southern California. He found a way to transfer his skills to become one of the best snowboarders in the US. But how does he navigate these two worlds with two distinct communities and support groups as he fights for a spot on the 2026 Olympic Team?

Kicking Horse, BC // Lake Tahoe, CA

  • Athlete(s): Britta Winans, Mia Winans, Anika Winans

We ski with Freeride athlete Britta Winans on the eve of her rookie debut on the FWT. A dramatic fall in her first run changes the trajectory of her season, but with the support of her sisters and family, she mounts an inspiring comeback with a new perspective.

Austria

  • Athlete(s): Daron Rahlves, Jacoba Kriechmayr, Miha Hrobat, Lucas Braathen, Sofia Goggia, Vincent Kriechmayr, Breezy Johnson

The World Championships is like the Super Bowl to the Austrians. We take a behind-the-scenes look at the events, the athletes, and the epic big mountain skiing in the Austrian Alps with none other than America's most celebrated male skier, Daron Rahlves.

Scotland

  • Athlete(s): Chris Rubens, Lesley McKenna

Former pro Chris Rubens takes us on a unique journey to discover a tiny but passionate community of skiers in Scotland. This is a land where you have to work to find your lines, but once there, it's something you'll never forget.

Ruby Hill, Denver, CO

  • Athlete(s): Cam Lawrence, Ashlee Keller, Willan Charles, Jakub Hrones, Oyvind Kirkhus

Not everyone has the luxury of being able to grow up going to the mountains to ski or snowboard—even if they're on the horizon of your city. So Winter Park brings a ski hill to an urban setting every year in a little park called Ruby Hill just a mile or two from downtown Denver. This small act has a profound effect on the community, bringing snowsports to people who would otherwise never experience it.

Finland

  • Athlete(s): Juho Kilkki & friends

This deeply authentic portrayal explores the unique culture of a small Finnish town that embraces "street skiing" as a way of life.

Whitewater, Nelson BC

  • Athlete(s): Sarka Pancochova, Marie-France Roy, Ellie Weiler, Katie Kennedy,
    Robin Van Gyn

We go to the Canadian Rockies to embed with some of the top female snowboarders for a week as they compete in RnD—a unique backcountry event where the winner gets a coveted spot on the Natural Selections Tour. The incredible snowboard action is elevated by the culture this group creates—pushing each other to new limits and striking the perfect balance of support and competition.

Vignettes

  • Steamboat Springs, CO: Witness the fun of Steamboat’s 43rd annual Cardboard Classic, where cardboard and competitors are fueled by pure creative lunacy while launching their creations downhill. The rules are simple, the creativity is wild, and even the most determined can't outrun the inevitable.

  • Tuckerman Ravine, NH: A day in the life from one of the closing days at an East Coast monument. To get there, you need to be committed. To ski it, you should also be committed.

  • Diamond Peak, CA: Come along for the Dummy Downhill, a spring tradition at Diamond Peak. The community builds dummies that are sent off a huge jump with hilarious outcomes.
