The Widlund Gallery at Tannery Pond Center presents:  Juried Art & Craft Fair

Friday, November 20 | 5-7 PM - Preview Party $10/person - vendors in attendance will be selling their items at this early bird preview event!

Saturday, November 21 | 10 AM - 5 PM

Please join us for this Third Annual Juried Art and Craft Fair. It is held prior to Thanksgiving and will allow you to do some early holiday shopping. We hope to have pottery, jewelry, textiles, painting, photography, gourmet food products, carving, soaps, demos and more.

TO BE A VENDOR: Please read the guidelines below. You may complete an online application HERE or you may download the application form HERE and return it via mail to: Tannery Pond Center, PO Box 54, North Creek, NY 12853.

VENDOR GUIDELINES: The 3rd Annual Tannery Pond Center Juried Art & Craft Fair is anticipated to be a high-quality event  attracting talented artisans and ready buyers set in the beautiful Tannery Pond Center. The Fair is  being held the weekend before Thanksgiving to coincide with holiday shopping. The event will be well publicized with anticipated advertising in local newspapers, radio (NCPR/Froggy), social media, rack cards at area businesses, banners, and road signs.

ELIGIBILITY: The Tannery Pond Center (TPC) Juried Art & Craft Fair is open to all fine art and craft artists with no geographic or membership restrictions. Artists with art forms eligible for  demonstrations are encouraged to participate. Extra space may be granted to accommodate demonstrations, if available. Commercial studios involved in volume production are not eligible for participation. 

STANDARDS: 

  1. All work displayed for sale must be of the artist’s original design. 

  2. All work displayed for sale must be handcrafted/executed by the artist/exhibitor. 

  3. Work should demonstrate skill and mastery of the medium. 

  4. Reproductions of your original work are welcome (e.g., prints, cards, etc.)  

  5. The following items are NOT ACCEPTABLE:  Embellished items, Manufactured goods 

EVENT DETAILS, artists may set up Friday or Saturday:  

  • Friday, November 20, 2026 – 10 AM to 2 PM – Tannery Pond Center open for booth set-up.

  • Friday, November 20, 2026 – 5 PM to 7 PM - catered Preview Party and Early Bird Shopping event, with  paid admission for the public. The Preview Party will be preceded by a catered “artists-only” meet-greet event for participants who set up on Friday.

  • November 21, 2026 - 7 AM to 9 AM – Tannery Pond Center open for booth set-up.

  • November 21, 2026 - 10 AM to 5 PM – The Tannery Pond Centered Juried Art & Craft Fair  open to the public, free admission and free parking.  

BOOTH DETAILS: The Fair will be held throughout the building of the Tannery Pond Center, 228 Main Street, North Creek,  NY. Each artist will be assigned a booth space by The Committee.  

BOOTH SPECIFICATIONS:  

  • Width: no less than 9 ½ feet wide.  

  • Depth: various depths but no less than 4 feet deep.  

  • Most booths will be one-sided and side-by-side with other booths. Due to the layout of our facility, there will be very few endcaps or opportunities for two-sided booths. (Extremely limited 10x10 spaces.)

  • Limited electrical outlets (if required additional fee will be applied).  

  • Limited wall space for hanging artwork (notify The Committee if required).  

  • One chair per booth will be provided, if desired.  

  • Limited tables available to rent, artists should expect to provide their own. 

  • No EZ-Ups or tents permitted, unless special permission acquired at the time of application.

ARTIST ON SITE POLICY: The TPC Juried Art & Craft Fair requires the artist/craftsperson who created the work to always be on site. Contact the Committee at craftfair@tannerypond.org if you need to send a representative in place of the artist.  

FEE POLICY: Jury Fee $20 (due at time of application, non-refundable), Booth Fee : $100 (due upon acceptance) Checks should be made out to Tannery Pond Center. Mail or drop off application and check to: Tannery Pond Center, PO Box 54, North Creek, NY 12853

CANCELLATION POLICY:Cancellation Date: NOVEMBER 1, 2026 - The booth fee will be refunded if the applicant cancels before the cancellation date, or if the event is  cancelled. No refunds for late cancellations or no shows.  

TAX IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED: All exhibitors MUST have a NYS Sales Tax number clearly visible in their booth and collect applicable NYS Sales Tax (7% on general merchandise, 3% on p clothing).

SECURITY & LIABILITY: TPC Juried Art & Craft Fair is to be held in a secure indoor location. However, the liability of all goods left overnight rests with the exhibitor. The Tannery Pond Center and the TPC Juried Art & Craft Fair Committee are not responsible for injury or damage to persons or property caused by items for sale or display at the TPC Juried Art & Craft Fair. Further, any injury or damage to  persons or property caused by items for sale or display is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor.  Property owners, agents, and Art & Craft show producers shall be held blameless from any liability  thereof. Further Certificate of Insurance will be required from each accepted vendor.
